Project Overview
Sweet Siblings is a personalised children's book I created in collaboration with the team at BookMyTale, and it's one of the projects I'm most proud of.
The idea came from something universal: the beautiful mess of growing up with a sibling. The fights, the inside jokes, the shared secrets, the way they drive you absolutely crazy and then show up for you when it matters most. I wanted to capture all of that, not in a sanitised, greeting-card way, but honestly, with warmth and a little chaos.
What makes the book special is how deeply personal it can become. Families can customise both siblings from the ground up: their names, how they look and what they're like. The story reshapes itself around those details, so when a child reads it, they're not just reading a book about siblings. They're reading their story.
The result is something that balances humour with tenderness, and turns the ordinary moments of sibling life, the bickering, the rituals, the unspoken loyalty, into something worth holding onto.
